Lucy Alma 

     I chose Coach Barton because he is my basketball coach. But i dont think of him as just a basketball coach, but a best friend. 

     Whenever I first came to school here, I honestly thought he was the scariest person ever. Then I figured out he was actually just a big ole' teddy bear with a large/loud voice.

    Not only is he a great coach but he is hilarious to watch in the stands. he jumps up and down and makes random facial expressions at us when we mess up. he is a pretty great guy.

    People judge him by the way he is on the court, a man that yells when us basketball girls mess up because well he really really doesnt like losing. Anybody could tell you that.    He is probably the only reason why I am still playing basketball. Before I came here  I had only played basketball for one season, thats all. When I watched the practices, I never thought I could do it. Looked tiring. Well of course when I stepped out on the court, I realized that the more work you put in the easier it gets, then I figured out he was watching me. He later told me he could tell that I noticed it, because the look on my face was like "uh-oh." But I suppose he, liked me because he put me on the court before most of the ninth graders. i was sorta surprised because i didnt think that i was any good. He thought so.

    Coming back to school here has made a huge difference on how well i play basketball. Coach B has helped me improve so much, and i dont think he knows how thankful i am to have the ability to play for his team.  

  This season we played and finished with an alright season, i mean we werent losers, we had 12 wins and 11 loses.

  Now you know the reason why i picked Coach Alan Barton. I mean  come on, he isnt so bad sounding after all huh?
